Permit size trees vary from city to city. In St. Thomas permit trees are 30cm dbh. A more simplified way of explaining this is when your trunk size is 30cm across at 4.5 feet in the air. In London permit trees are 50cm dbh or 50cm across at 4.5 feet up. When it comes to municipality trees a general rule of thumb is 30 feet from the centre of the road is city property, but the measurements vary drastically from street to street. All permit applications are 100$ to submit and in St. Thomas an arborist report is also needed with an additional fee of 150$ included. We also offer lot and land clearing services.
