Permits in London and St. Thomas
Municipal tree rules can apply before removal. London regulates distinctive private trees with a trunk diameter of 50 cm or greater within the Urban Growth Boundary and trees of any size in designated Tree Protection Areas. St. Thomas regulates private trees over 30 cm DBH, subject to the by-law's exemptions and permit requirements. We can help identify when an arborist report or permit process may be required.
